LEAD TECHNICIAN:
* The position is full time. If you have a history of not being dependable,
do not apply.
* Experience:
~ A qualified applicant must have at least 5 or more years experience
in auto repair at a dealership or franchise shop or an independent
garage.
~ Work history
~ A valid driver's license is important but not absolutely necessary
depending on your circumstances.
* Duties:
~ General auto repair services including engine repair (replacement
or rebuilding), diagnostics (including using the scan tool), general
repair services (tune-ups, timing belt, brakes, A/C, electrical, tires,
oil change, batteries, radiator/cooling system, fuel systems, lights,
etc.
* Tools:
~ You must have your own basic set of tools. Snap-On,
MATCO and MAC Tools make weekly stops at the shop which
makes it possible for you to purchase additional tools needed
on a payment plan.
* Pay:
~ The job pays a base compensation for general shop duties,
customer assistance and technical assistance to other shop
technicians plus a flat rate of $25/per standard repair time for any
assigned job.
* Benefits:
~ Uniforms are provided.
~ Half of the monthly payment for enrollment in basic Affordable Care
Act policy up to $200.00.
~ 5 days paid vacation leave accrued 1/2 day per month after 6
months on the job.
~ 5 days paid sick leave accrued 1/2 day per month after six months
on the job.
~ National holidays - day off plus $75 for the day.
~ Fridays - free pizza for lunch
